BLOG POST #1: Film Criteria

What i think makes a movie noteworthy is on the actors. If the movie has actors that are known by many people then that is what makes the people want to go see the movie with the actors they know. Also by the company that makes the movie, if it is a big company then they are going to be a lot of ads then that is going to make you want to go see the movie. For example my favorite genre of movies is action movies so if i know that the movie is going to have action then i go see them i do not miss any action movie. If i know that the movie is not going to be an action movie them i do not really pay a lot of attention to it.

Le voyage dans la lune
this movie was not good enough because none of the characters that came out int his video clip they did not talk at all. By the characters not talking it may not grab a lot of people  attention. Someone else was telling the story well not the whole story because it will just talk about some part they did not tell us the whole story of the movie.
The Great Train Robbery
this video clip they did not talk at all. the characters did not talk and no one was telling the story. i do not thing that people are going to want to watch this movies since none of the characters talk so that means that they have to pay attention to the whole movie in order for them to tell what the movie is about and now in days  most of the people like to listen to the story better instead of just seeing it.


Fast Five
This movie meets my criteria because it is an action movie. in most of the movie they show action. this movie has a lot of music to it. Also because all the actors that come out in this movie are well known and they are known are really good actors. this movie is not just and action movie but it is also funny. all the races that they did in this movie they looked real they used really good CGI.

Paranormal activity 1
this is also one of my favorite movies because they said that this movie is based on a true story so that is something that grabs people attention and it makes them want to go see it. They filmed this movie like if it was found footage and no one had done that before this was one of the first movies like that. this movie was really scary. in the trailers the did not show what was the bad thing.
 

Mayras Film interest

I really enjoy watching all different types of movies. I own about 300 movies i have them organized by the genre. I have action movies, scary, romantics, and funny. For my birthday what i get the most from presents are movies. All my family knows that watching movies is something i like to do so thats why they give me movies on my birthday. Not only they give me movies on special ocations but they also give me movies when they come out on dvd and they know that i like that movie.

I also like watching netflix because it shows a lot of old movies that i like. not only old movies but they also show recent ones that are out on dvd. Since my mom knows I like watching  a lot of movies thats why she got netflix for me because like that i wont waste a lot of money on movies because she knows that evertime I go to the store and i see a movie that i like she knows i will want to buy it or else i make her buy it for me.

One of my favorite movies that i like watching is Fast Five. It is one of my favorite movies because it is an action movie and action movies is what i like the most. Also all the different car that they show in the movie. Vin Diecel is one of my favorite actors there is. He is my favorite actor because he knows how to act and all his movies that he comes out in are very good and they are mostly all action movies.
